APRILIA PARTY 2021

APRILIA PARTY 2021 at Misano Adriatico

WHAT A PARTY An April 25 like this had never been seen before. In fact, on Sunday the great Aprilia party took place on the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico. A bit like it had been with the first edition of Aprilia All Stars at Mugello in 2019, the 2021 Liberation Day involved the MotoGP riders of yesterday and today and the bikes that made the history of the Noale manufacturer. Unfortunately - due to the pandemic - a closed-door event, which Aprilia has been able to pack with images and videos - which will arrive - for all fans at home.

FROM MOTOGP There were Aleix Espargaró and Lorenzo Savadori, RS-GP riders in MotoGP, but also young and ... old glories of the past, such as Andrea Iannone, Manuel Poggiali, Max Biaggi, Loris Capirossi and Alex Gramigni. With them also the boys of the newborn Aprilia RS 660 Trophy, open to riders aged 15 and over. The champions took to the track to test the new RSV4 super sports car, the maxinaked Tuono V4 Factory 2021, but also the medium sports Aprilia RS 660.

THE MEMORY Truly unforgettable moments, first of all the one dedicated to Fausto Gresini. In fact, a touching moment on the track was dedicated to the memory of the two-time World Champion, with all the riders lined up on the starting line of the Romagna track.

EVERYONE ON THE TRACK His colleagues paid homage to him in their own way: Max Biaggi took his RSV4 X, the spearhead of the Aprilia super sports cars, to the track, while Andrea Iannone also rode on the RS 660 in the Trofeo version. Loris Capirossi tested his 2019 RS-GP, the MotoGP that has recently become part of his splendid collection. Alex Gramigni also took off the whim of trying the Aprilia from MotoGP, while Manuel Poggiali rode mainly with the RSV4. After all, Aleix Espargaró was able to fulfill his dream of returning to the saddle of a 2-stroke Aprilia 250 GP, as did Max Biaggi, who rode again on the two-half with which he won the 1996 World Championship.
